When will McKirdy’s Steakhouse be re-opening?
We are pleased to announce we will be re-opening on Monday 17th August 2020.

Can we dine with you on the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme?
Yes, we are registered with the scheme so make sure you visit us Monday – Wednesday to take advantage! The scheme is running until August 31st 2020.

Do we need to book in advance?
Yes, you will need a booking to dine with us in the meantime. We can still take bookings on the night you would like to visit us, just make sure you give us a call prior to arriving to make sure we can accommodate you!
You can make a booking either through our website or by calling us on 0131 229 6660 and following the automated booking system.


How big can our party be?
Each group should have no more than eight people from three different households.


Will you require our details as part of track and trace?
Following the introduction of the new Government mandatory rules, we are now required to hold
full contact information for all members of your party who are dining with us.


Do I need to wear a mask or face covering?
We ask that you arrive wearing a mask/face covering which can be removed once you have been seated at your table. We also ask that face masks/coverings are worn when using our toilet facilities.


Will there be hand sanitiser available?
Yes, we have hand sanitisers located throughout the restaurant. On arrival, we ask that the provided sanitiser is used which is inside the front door. We also have some available on entry/exit to the toilets.


Will there be a one-way system?
Yes, we have clear displayed floor markings showing our one-way system. You will enter through the usual door but will now leave the restaurant using the exit downstairs.


Will there be temperature checks on arrival?
Yes, we will be checking the temperature of all our guests. Our customer’s safety is our main concern so we do ask that if you are not feeling right or have had any symptoms in the last 14 days that you do not attend the restaurant.
